CCSNH Employee Giving

It has long been a request of faculty & staff to provide an opportunity to support our students directly.   In partnership with our colleges, The Foundation for NH Community Colleges is launching the first Employee Giving Program (EGP) at CCSNH.

In addition to giving by check or credit card, the EGP offers a choice to support student scholarships through payroll deduction. The money raised will be directed to our students annually and administered in collaboration with financial aid.

Our collective efforts can be life-changing for students of all ages and aspirations. A gift of any size will help students like Katie fulfill their dreams.

“I write to thank the generous donors who made this scholarship possible. I lost my mother when I was 15 to cancer. She was only 37. This changed my entire life, as you can imagine. I never left her side when she was sick, which meant I spent much of my time in the hospital, cancer center, and hospice facility. That is when I fell in love with nursing.

Since my mother’s passing, I have attained my LNA and EMT licenses along with many wonderful experiences working in healthcare. I will graduate from the GBCC nursing program in May 2022. It has been a long journey, and I am ready to accomplish this huge goal in life!

By awarding this scholarship to me, you made it possible for me to work less and study more. As you may know, this is essential in nursing school! I am truly living my biggest dream.

I am the current Great Bay Student Nurses Association President, which I take great pride in. As a member, I value volunteering my time and love to the community and those in need. This scholarship will give me more time to volunteer and partake in community service. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

The Employee Giving Program was established at the request of faculty and staff to provide employees an option to support students at their college. Making a charitable contribution is a personal decision, and participation is entirely optional.   

If you support local organizations through the United Way, please continue to direct your generous contributions in this manner. If, however, you wish to support our community college students directly, the EGP offers an additional option to contribute via payroll deduction.

You can contribute to The Foundation via check, credit card or payroll deduction.

You may designate your gift to any of the seven college scholarship funds held by The Foundation to support enrolled students.

The Foundation may introduce additional fund options in Fall 2022. 

Payroll deduction allows you to spread your gift out over a specified period, so your giving is automatic and easier on cash flow.  Contributions are taken from your after-tax earnings.

For those who sign up for payroll deduction, the first deduction will be on January 14, 2022.

There are no fees if you contribute by check or payroll deduction.  A 3% processing fee is charged on credit card contributions.

Yes. The Foundation will provide you with a tax receipt in January 2023 for your 2022 contributions.

The Foundation may include your name among a list of donors in its annual report unless you designate on your contribution form that you wish to remain anonymous.

Employees are not required to participate in the Employee Giving Program.  Our primary goal is to be responsive and provide a benefit for all CCSNH employees. Participating is optional and offers the opportunity to help students achieve their educational aspirations.
