Casey Snyder, a graduate of Great Bay Community College (GBCC), was the keynote speaker for the college’s 2019 spring commencement. During the ceremony, he spoke of the rejection and failure that forged the beginning of his journey to success.
“When someone decides to invest in you, work like hell to accommodate their decision,” he said. “After a series of setbacks, I knew I would make it. I no longer feared failure, but more importantly, I did not want to disappoint those who believed in me when others did not.”
Casey is now a partner, senior vice president and wealth manager at The Sedoric Group of Steward Partners in Portsmouth.
