Scholarships
The Foundation manages over 90 scholarship funds and awarded $565,000 in 2023-24.
We aim to lessen the barriers to seeking a quality education in New Hampshire.
Thanks to many generous donors, The Foundation can offer financial assistance to students pursuing a certificate or associate degree at any of NH’s community colleges.
Scholarship Application Deadlines
The Foundation offers three scholarship cycles, and students must apply each semester to be considered for support. Please note, you must be enrolled in classes before you can complete the application.
The summer cycle is very limited as most scholarships are held for the fall and spring semesters.

The Foundation administers over 90 scholarships established by generous donors. We have need- and merit-based scholarships, awards for specific majors, and scholarships for students from certain towns. With so many scholarships available, one will surely be right for you. We encourage everyone to submit a scholarship application, regardless of your major, GPA, financial need, or enrollment status (part-time or full-time).
Fortunately, you do not have to submit multiple scholarship applications. You will complete a General Scholarship Application in AwardSpring, which auto-matches your answers to criteria from over 90 scholarships. Some scholarships may require additional information (e.g., short essays, letters of recommendation, etc.). Once you complete the General Application, return to your AwardSpring Dashboard to determine if additional information is needed.
The application takes less than TEN minutes because your essential information (e.g., name, address, degree, major, etc.) is automatically transferred.
Not all scholarships require a FAFSA. However, we recommend that you complete a FAFSA as it can identify additional financial assistance that may be available to you.
Yes. Receiving a Pell Grant does not disqualify you from receiving a scholarship. In most cases, scholarship funds are available only for tuition, fees, and books, but a Pell Grant can be used for living expenses during your time as a student.
Absolutely! We have several scholarships that support academic excellence. If you are ineligible for financial aid, you may qualify for other scholarships if you demonstrate financial need.
The Committee generally reviews applications and selects scholarship recipients within 2-3 weeks of the application deadline.
You will receive an award notification at your CCSNH student email if you are selected for a scholarship. No email is sent if you are not selected for an award.
Scholarship awards are posted directly to your student account. If your account is fully paid, you may receive a refund to support other college expenses.
